Ludo win 1-0!! Makes tonight a little less shitty.

Can't see us even making it to the Euro Cup TBH.

Don't understand why Real didn't go for the throat, we were there for the taking.

I was rather hoping to allay any comments regarding Rodgers until he had a full strength squad at his disposal. But TBH, I don't see any signs that he can be defended. Our total disarray is all of his own making so let the Spanish Inquisition begin I say!

Comparing our squad to theirs,  that game went the way it should have, in fact it should probably have been worse.
In every position they are superior to us,  all we could have hopeed for is that the crowd lifted our boys to another level and intimidated them,  but they're too experienced for that.

Still,  isn't it great to be back in the champions league again!

We did not, in any way match his ambition

Wait, we did finish 2nd last season yeah?

narrowly missed out on being champions?

      ok...

I'm beginning to think we may have a problem with our defence mate.

It's bad enough having to watch my team lose but reading some of the stuff on here over the last few weeks is shocking to say the least.

I'm ashamed to call myself a Liverpool supporter if this is how the rest of you support.

So it's all hunky-dory is it? I think people are just so shocked of the decline we have taken from last year that's all. We all knew it would be tough with life after suarez. But the investment of that money doesn't seem to have gone to plan which is gutting for everyone.

No one is supporting the club less, but people are knee jerking (including me) because it's just so depressing watching us right now.

Am I the only person who thinks Ronaldo Mcdonaldos goal wasn't brilliant poor defending all over for me

Nah just got to hold your hands up on that one. Super pass, lighting quick run and outstanding finish.

It was what followed that really disappointed me.

Result was expected. 3-0 not a bad scoreline considering.

2-1 would have been fairer. Coutinho's brilliant strike deserved a goal. Their 3rd was down to a shocker from Mignolet unfortunately.

      .

Most goals are poor defending. What's new? It was a fantastic early take though...

Undone by a piece of brilliance and then we fell to pieces. Other results have gone our way which means it's still in our hands whether we qualify even if we lose to Real next game (assuming Basel and Ludogorets lose their games against them as well) so it's not all doom and gloom.

I'd say we need to park the bus against Real Madrid at their place but I don't think our players have the mental ability to do that. We do need to be more savvy in these big games though especially with us struggling at both ends of the pitch. Hope we can turn it around soon.

Hopefully he has the balls to give them a roasting in the dressing room. And to drop some players. I was hoping Lovren would be dropped for Sahko, but I reckon he'll be gone in January...

Wonder if anyone from Hull was watching.
Could be a few long balls into the box come the weekend :)

Mario needs dropping now. Ricky's gotta play next game. Jonno too needs some arse-splinter time.

Can did OK when came on. Lallana tried hard. Markovic, well ... his hair is nice.

Madrid are in a different league (unfortunately, not just metaphorically). We now need to focus on Hull and grinding the F**k out of 3 points...

How much of that was down to him and Sturridge! Quite a lot I'd say, going on our performances so far!

apparently we are all tw*t , just look at what someone saying about us on RAWK

By the way, just like to applaud all the posters on here.

I was on the forum LFC Reds, and it was just sickening abuse at Rodgers that he should be sacked and that winning the League Cup a few years back was preferable to Champions League nights.

A lot of work still needs to be done, none more so from Brendan himself, but I have every confidence in him to deliver even in this barren spell.

Congratulations to all posters on RAWK, you are a breath of fresh air compared to the tw*ts on LFC Reds.

      Exactly fella.

Nobody wants to say we were depressing. Nobody wants to say the manager was disappointing in his team selection. Nobody wants to point out that we spent a truck-load of money on, what appears to be, mediocre players.

It's those that seem so offended by these comments that are reacting with the insults and outrage. Put an argument against it rather than huffing and puffing and shouting "support", if what people are saying is wrong shoot them down.

You wouldn't mind if they had scored 3 worldies but it was the same old issue of pub style defending from the usual culprits.

On a positive if there is one Can looked good when he came on along with Coutinho and Raheem, can only be positive for Hull.

Its funny how some of us here are dismissing us to qualify from the group. I know we have been really poor but even without getting a single point against Madrid we can still qualify. And dont ask me how in hell can we get two wins in our last two matches, I still havent got a clue how we got the result against QPR.

Did he say that? If so he needs to have a word with himself. You don't win halves, you win games, those things made of two halves.

This, Brendan's lack of European experience will, unfortunately cost us.
