This is what I don't get when folks talk about not being enough goals in this team as happend early in this game. Makes no sense to me.

Fair chance we'll finish the league campaign scoring well over 80 goals.

I get that mate, we all feel it at times, but it's demonstrably untrue and leads to people declaring this or that player is sh*te even before the halftime whistle nevermind full time. Just find it frustrating. Anyway, onwards we go.

That's the 5th time out of the 7 league games since the start of the year we've scored 4 goals in a game......
That was a hell of a 2nd half from us.....

I am not afraid to hold my hands up when wrong, I really struggled to see how we would turn it around but we did and no doubt it was down to Klopp for the most part but a big credit to those players who really gave it there all in that second half. Both Diaz and Elliot getting very well-taken goals after the chances they missed, said it all for me.

I do want to take some time to just highlight how integral I think Endo is to this team for the latter part of the season, not only does he do the yards running, make himself available for the CB's whenever they need an outlet, make last ditch challenges to stop the flow of the opposition BUT he is vital to Mac getting forward and being that difference in midfield with a forward pass. I am starting to really like the lad and feel his importance could be similar to Lucas Levia.

I am not the biggest fan of Cody right now, but credit to him for getting the goal. Bradley looked a different player in that second half and had the confidence to make things happen going forward and we will need that from him in games to come too. And finally a shoutout to Virgil, when we needed something to get us back in the game the captain stepped up with a great goal.

Let's F***ing go reds, we keep on marching forward!

Constant nagging over Cody by the odd few. Doing OK. Scoring about 1 in 3 ish...not the fastest but strong in possession. Has an eye for goal. In and out doesn't help but he was good tonight. I would've backed him to score one of those Diaz chances. Good player.

      Game of two halves.

sh*te first half, looking like we were struggling to break them down. Cracking 2nd half and once we got the equaliser they folded like a pack of cards.

You're looking for problems after a 4-1 win?

I think I'm right in thinking he never had a pre-season. Not sure how much that can affect a player, but I'd wager it does to an extent.

Enjoyed that. It was a good warm up game for this team going into the final. Might have Mo & Nunez back but the spirit and mentality in the second half was fantastic.

But for some poor finishing and final ball going astray in the first half, it could've easily been 6 or 7.

We were wasteful in the opening period of the first half and once we went behind we became jittery and erratic all over the pitch.
Once we upped the pace and got on level terms you could see the confidence sweeping back into the players. Elliott's touch was a nightmare first half, but once we got back into it he was a different player...he just needs to calm himself down. The team showed great spirit to push on, albeit against a tired and ordinary Luton....Loved that little through ball by Danns that led to Elliott's goal.

Why do you need to have a "problem guy" to begin with? Scared to think who your next "problem guy" will be once Grav settles.....

How about sticking behind the team and celebrating a good 4-1 win, an emphatic win which included 8 squad players.

Everyone did step it up 2nd half and our class pulled through in the end (when Klopp says he's running out of energy, I can only assume he means from his half time team talks!)

I thought we created a fair few openings first half, which in part was helped due to Luton playing an expansive game (as they said they would). Diaz in the opening moments from Kelleher's kick really should've taken the ball with him, gone down the outside of the keeper and rolled it into the empty net. There was another he had where Endo picked him out quite exquisitely but he couldn't quite stretch out enough to get it on target.
