In the thread about Barcelona coming in for Benayoun :

Straight swap Yossi for Messi  Wink

And Res came back with this little blinder:

I'd still say no funnily enough.

I don't know why, but I've just got the feeling Yossi is going to be sensational this season.

      Oh Res, you little Tinker!

Feel free to enter your Quote of the Month here! Who knows, there could even be a prize! ;)

This was from last month, don't know if that's allowed Gow? :D

My personal favourite, including you and JD.

      http://www.lfcreds.com/reds/index.php?topic=5272.560

      Particularly this:

      JD: Ballbag?

Mine was bitten off by a pack of dogs during WWII.  Luckily I found the dog responsible, cut him open, retrieved my gonads and performed surgery on myself (with a spoon) and stitched it back together with barbed wire.

      And this:

Gow: That happened to me once with a great white shark. I was water skiing, with the pullrope tied around me bellend, when this great white shark cam out of nowhere, jumped out the water, and bit me f***in head off, right at the same time as the boat hit a wave and decapitated me cock. But did that stop me? Did it sh*te. I swam after that great white shark, dragged it to the shore, climbed into its belly, found me 'ead, used the teeth in me 'ead to pull the 12 inch nails out me testes, nailed me 'ead back on - THEN, I swam back out to where me bellend had been ripped off, freedived 1.5 kilometeres to the bottom of the ocean, picked it up, swam back to the shore, used spit and sand to form a kind of glue and glued it back on.

Then I fu**ed the great white shark.

      Up the arse.

      Jeremy Clarkson about Ronaldo

'He's one of those people you'd never tire, hitting with a hammer.'

That's a contender. Although I'm quite certain Jeremy Clarkson isn't a member of this forum.

Yep, it was kinda supposed to be restricted to forum quotes. If a prize materialised then I wouldn't know how to get it to Clarkson. I suppose I could just mail it to:

From the Michael Owen Transfer Thread:

I don't know about this one. Owen as always been about himself, so couple that with the fact that the British media hate Rafa, any of  Owens failings will be blamed on Rafa. They are gonna be calling for us to play with two strikers as soon as Owen scores two goals in the League Cup and mess up the team unity and we could become divided on the issue ala Keane. Like I said before Owen is about Owen and making the English team, he wont want to ride the pine cause he wont think he can make the english team riding the pine. We can't pay him to ride the pine. Its like an ex-girlfriend, she might not want to ride the pine. Don't do it, cut your losses and run.  Of course if he does come he will have my full support.

It's all about ridin' the pine baby! :D

A quote from JD in the 'Torres insists stars must stay'.

Is Torres the only Spaniard at Anfield who has his head screwed on the right way around?

      Possibly.

That's quote of the month for me!

Started watching that the other night but got the impression she wasn't going to get her baps out - so stopped watching.

Had a little bit of trouble there's no lights on any of the panels in the delorean and I had to wait three bloody years for them to invent the light bulb apart from that it was smooth sailing.
