Can anyone please show me the lines that were drawn to prove Diaz was offside when Mo tapped in ahead of Harvey?

Looked onside clearly to me. Funny no lines shown, Check complete was the call  !!!!

Yet, they tried every angle they could to try to rule both Cody and Joe offside for Cody's goal.

      Well done Wolves.

With the addition of semi automated offside, there is now even less use for VAR seeing as the only thing it gets right.....is telling whether player X is on or off.

We can't get rid of the referees, so in my opinion the next best thing would be to remove the technology they're unable to equip.

VAR has impacted negatively on referee's decision making, increases the risk of doubt not only on themselves but amongst others.

Also I don't like how it's used, VAR in his ear telling him he needs to look at such and such.......the on field ref should have the authority at all times....meaning if he believes he may have missed something at full speed that needs looking at again, he should be the 1 to make that call.

Well done Wolves! Let’s hope all the clubs vote in favour of scrapping it and that c**t across the water loses his reason to visit this forum.

Err, only seeing this now LiP...
I started a thread on it. Probably needs its own thread anyway as there's lots to discuss on the ineptitude of the blerts in PGMOL....

Unfortunately while PGMOL are in charge they can never be trusted to use it, they have shown over the years they are getting worse at using it so until big changes are made in there and it isn't just a bunch of fat, bald friends F***ing around every week, it needs to go... learn to do the basics of your jobs first and actually know the rules of football, then you can have your toy.

We’ve had enough of VAR to last us fans a life time, it’s time to get our game back. It’s time to celebrate a goal again be in on or offside. It’s time to see it swings in roundabouts over a calendar season. I’m happier seeing genuine offside mistakes on close calls by the officials. Obviously not going to be perfect but let’s be honest with all their so called technology and subjective calls I still prefer the old system.

Yep me too. 5 years in ... its rubbish and not fit for purpose. Happy with goal line technology and to try automated offsides but thats it. Everything else down to the officials and if they f*ck up they need to front up.

Leave it to Europe then 😂

Newcastle had a certain penalty in first half tonite but down to yet another subjective call not given. It does need to go Pj. Somehow I don’t think it will but 🤞🤞🤞

It would work fine if they scrapped clear n obvious error and just gave the correct decision, and tonight that would have been a pen, simple

Simplify it or just get rid of it. Doesn't matter how sound an idea is if in practice they can't implement it properly.

      "Offside" on the pitch.
      Goal does not count.
      CHAOS. MAYHEM.

I'm relieved to know that this club will stand up for justice done on the pitch, as I do, and will not be swayed by populism. Only another 6 like minded clubs needed to unceremoniously throw it out. When the T&C is clearly read and understood, such a short sighted, shoddy, and downright ludicrous proposal, explained by a rotten packet of blatant lies, hopefully won't even make it as far as the vote.

Last week's thriller in the Bernabeu saw the benefits of VAR working the way it's supposed to work, and the consequences of using the old system during the last 10 minutes.

Never Again. Not in this league anyway.
