Man! Did you see the Barcelona's loss, I bet that if that Russian club had any of our bench players they would have scored more... It's all about tactics and Rafa is helpless to get a draw. I appreciate what he is doing but the absence of the duo shouldn't be disastrous!

When you walk through a storm
      Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
      There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark

      Walk on through the wind
      Walk on through the rain
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown
      Walk on, walk on
      With hope in your heart
      And you'll never walk alone
      You'll never walk alone

Get those lyrics people, understand the song and you'll understand the club.

We don't give up. We won't give up.

We'll turn out winners. We have no choice but to.

I am a big fan of Carra but i was also a big fan of Rush and Folwer, but they couldnt carry on playing for Liverpool..

Last seasons away game v West Brom, which was Arby's last game for the game created a sparkle from Carra.... From that point, I think Carra has lost the plot... he is one the greatest centre backs Liverpool FC has produced but its his time to warm the bench... The defense has no unity at the moment and i see him as the weakest link... Dont get me wrong he is probably better than some other defenders at the club but he has lost the attitude we had seen in the real Jamie Carragher...

Football's much more than entertainment pal.

      Much more.

If that's all you care about - how attractive our performances are - you might be best suited supporting Madrid or Chelsea.

Thats true, but people pay good money to see their teams these days, especially given the economic climate.  Is it to much to ask to expect players - internationals to get the ball on the turf and play through teams.  For christ sake id rather watch paint dry than stoke city, all their tactics go into throw ins and corners and set pieces.  is that what you wana see - no I would like to see liverpool destroy teams on the deck, get some high quality technical players in, thats all, and play the way this great club should!! the fans deserve it after dire years under that french guy and now rafa.  Ask yourself this question, if rafa hadnt of won the CL in 05, would he still be there.  We all want one thing, the LEAGUE so I can tell all my manc scum bags of mates to go to f**k finally, ive being waiting 18 bloody years as a fan!!!!

Why in the name of god was Benayoun taken off for Voronin? The only player that looked capable of coming up with a bit of magic to get a goal is taken off for some porn star disguised as a professional footballer. Perhaps this might belong in the knee jerk thread but Carragher was poorly positioned for both goals, he has lokoed so shakey lately that we might need to consider dropping him. The only positive from this game is a good performance from Kelly, otherwise a totally disastrous night.

as much as i agree re: carra, this weekend is the wrong time to drop him. he will raise his game for this one... but he defo needs to feel a few splinters on his ass to buck him up..

All I hope now is that we stuff United and go on a strong Premier League run, while possibly getting knocked out of the Champions League.

Hit the owners where it hurts - in the pocket, and Benitez (hopefully with the reds back on course for the title) will be unsackable.

Boy they will be F***ing pissed off.

You brought up the Barca result, in a thread about Lyon, you have spouted the biggest amount of sh*te I've heard anyone on hear say. And I can't even be arsed breaking down your posts, and proving you wrong. Because your just the sort of person whose retort would be to say something like 'well I'm right so shut up, tosser'

Now, I believe there is a forum called RedCafe for fans like your self. (If you didn't get that, it's a hint for you to do one)

Pretty much overall he just said that he was disappointed. Not a lot more he could've said.
