It probably also means we can't buy anyone else this year now as the money will go on the contract.
Since those two shitehawks won't be funding it.
Depends just how two faced those two tw*ts are.
I've raised the point before, but surely if extending a contract comes out of the transfer fund, then selling a player before the end of a contract should mean adding up what wages would have been spent on him, and putting them in the kitty? Which would mean even if the Yanks pocket all the money from our player sales this January, Dossena and Voronin's unpaid wages could cover Pepe's pay rise?
Unlikely, but then I didn't think we'd sign anyone else anyway.
Just glad to have Pepe signed up for another 5 years, or to ensure a hefty sum for him if he suddenly wanted to leave. Top bloke, top keeper.
