He is a great player, The next Sami/Alan Hansen. Real good prspect for the future and I think he is good enough to play just now in my opinion, Would like to see him come in to some premiership games against lesser opponents at home e.g. Wigan, West Ham etc.

Had a good game against Sparta Prague. Confident performance and got the European experience under his belt.

Thought he played well last night,I would put him in instead of Skrtel.Hope he can break into the 1st team soon.

Thought he did well last night, only caught the second half tho. Comfortable with his right foot too which looks good. Only thing that worried me was his quickness to punt the ball forward up to Ngog on his own rather than pass it.

Have to say he has definitely impressed in his two games against Sparta Prague. Looked comfortable, defended well, made good passes and got up in support of the LW. For a young lad who had very little playing time with us to be thrown in out of position and do the job he's done deserves credit. Great job Danny keep it up, hope to see him get his game against West Ham.

Has performed very well for me, very calm on the ball, similar to a young Agger, he also always looks for a clever pass to the front men which is good rather than hoofing.

I didnt notice him much, which means he did well

Remember very well how one of his Daniel Agger-esque pass found Dirk Kuyt I think. Composed and calm at the back and only 19!

Thought Danny did really well in the second half.He had obviously been told to get further forward and when he did he looked the part.And his passes got to were he intended most of the time.Really think he will great for us in the future.

Playing with dagger will do no harm. He can learn so much from soto who is great in the air and dagger who is about the perfect CB just like Jonathan Woodgate used to be.
