My obsession with the little Judas???  I said he had won a Ballon D'or at 21. If you go through all my posts, I think you'll find that I really love this football club and I give an honest assesement on what I see.. And if thats negative at the moment then sorry ...

Bale's had a great season. Tidy finisher too, he could play full back or on the wing, versatile.
Milner is strong and a decent finisher. Rarely seems to get injured, reliable.
Teves must be giving Fergie nightmares - must be their player of the year. De Jong's been good in midfield.
To pick someone outside Torres, SG and Reina - I like Glen Johnson. Might not be as solid in defense as some others, but super going forward.

A bit pointless thread but got me thinking for a while.

It's not the pointless / pathetic thread that some of you are suggesting when you consider that many of the players doing well at those clubs are players that many Liverpool fans would have liked us to have signed at some point, Barry, Milner, Tevez, Young, Lennon to name a few.
It's a bit harsh to slate someone for asking your opinions when others will write lengthy posts on here purely to attack an individual player.
Not the worst thread by a long way.

I personally quite like Monobrow's selection but agree with imcfitz that Ashley Young should be in Maxi's place and I would still find room for Yossi and Skrtel on the bench.

I'd probably have Tevez, Wayne Bridge and maybe Defoe.

But that's about it.

Zabaleta is a pretty solid player. Great cross, can beat a man, can tackle and defend, is versatile and really impressed me when he played for Argentina at the Olympics.
