Stoke 1-0 Liverpool: In game and Post Match debate

Same old story I'm afraid.

Definitely a different story to the game I watched at the Britannia last year.

Think you're having a complete laugh if you don't lump Charlie Adam into that mix. The pair of them were shocking.

Think the whole midfield was pathetic, Lucas included, but Henderson was far worse, invisible, only showed up to screw things up

Thought both handball claims against Stoke would have been harsh, but when Skrtel smashed the ball over, his standing leg was taken just before he struck the ball, that was a penalty.

Bellamy should of been on from the start for me, Looked decent on the ball as did Downing.

Probly get tore a new hole for this but, Suarez' finishing can really let him down at times.

Despite the result wasn't a bad away performance considering the god awful ref we had to contend with. Perform like that on our travels and we'll do alright this season. A few average performances and passing wasn't crisp enough with a little too much hoof even without Andy in the team but disappointed with the result but not the performance.

My thoughts exactly. The last 10-odd minutes were just nerve-wrenching. I was jumping up and down with excitement and anticipation. But it just wasn't our day..

Moments like that, i just lose myself. I don't think i sat still for 25 minutes through nerves and anticipation and now i've just collapsed into a lifeless hack sitting on my arse wondering how that all just happened and we sit here with zero points.

And to make matters worse, Arsenal, City, Chavs and Spurs all won as well.

I can't believe how much bad luck we had today. In fact there is only one reason we could have so much bad luck......so which of you bas**rds has been shagging a nun?

Thought Bellamy did well when he came on (apart from his header) Downing did well second half (apart from his shot). Thought Suarez did well (apart from his shot)and the less said about F***ing stoke the better.

Suarez squandered a last effort to equalize! So no MOTM for him. Downing Anyone?

I'll eat up half my criticism just for the effort we put on in the end. Gone down fighting.

We deserved atleast a draw, one of those days, Lucas our best player.

Definitely JD. They had 1 shot on target and 2 shots off target. Its hardly the same old story is it.

Our passing as a whole was very poor today in comparison to how we've started. On another day we would have scored 4 today, but it just wasn't to be. Move on and learn from it.

So so so angry with that.

Yes Henderson and Suarez should have scored, but 3 penalties we should have had?

GUTTED !!!....How we lost that game is beyond me...chance after chance after chance !!!...and Upson DID use his arm to block Suarez's cross , end of !!.......
