Spearing is really turning into a great player give it another year and he will definitely be one of our top players if given the chance.

No surprise to me how fluid we looked in the middle without Charlie Adam.

When Henderson was central he looked far better than when he was on the touchline.

So what's it going to be then for Liverpool? 4-4-2 with Carroll and Suarez - or 4-5-1 with just Suarez up top.

With the right players I'd prefer the 4-5-1 but 4-4-2 probably our best option for the remainder of the season.

Well done tonight red men.  Sorry to all you kneejerkers and boo boys who won't be able to throw 100 posts on to your post counts tonight!

So enjoyed that . Steve G , what can I say , just superb. Luis Suarez is so unselfish , just wanted him to score , he deserved it.
Andy  needs to start believing in himself a bit more , having said that he played his part tonight and was unlucky not to score.
We need to show that  commitment more often.
Going to bed a very very happy bunny.

Yeah I thought Henderson was poor first half but improved second.  Playing him on the right is a waste and when he drifted centrally he showed what he could do with a couple of fantastic through balls.  Still, you can tell he lacks confidence which he is a shame because he looks a half decent player.  IMO Shelvey is a half decent player too, and seems to ooze confidence.

Thought it was one of Andy Carroll's best games and it was the best I have seen he and Suarez link up.  Promising signs there.  Suarez as usual was great, and his assist for Gerrard's hat trick goal was unselfish and top class.

Martin Kelly is the best right back at the club.  There I said it.  I love this F***ing guy, and we are blessed to have two brilliant right backs at the club.  But I do think Kelly has a better all round game than Johnson.

Enrique and Skrtel were both solid as usual and Spearing was dogged and neat in possession.  We definitely did not miss Adam.

Overall a fantastic win and one of the best attacking midfield displays you'll ever see from Gerrard.  What a F***ing player!!! ;D

He does mate and to me that is what Kenny wants from him when he plays him from the right but Jordan just hasn't quite got to grips with his role yet.

I think with the players we have at the moment we should go with the 4-4-2 more often than not. Not sure if that is the way to go against Stoke though, happy to leave that decision up to Kenny this week :)

      I just can't stop smiling :)

Fantastic performance from everyone. But the most happy thing that I saw was Suarez, as usual one of the very few that can play in tight situations inside the box knows where and when to pass the ball. If we could get a world class striker to play along side him next season he'll provide non-stop assists and scoring a few here and there. Well done lads and truly shell-shocked for the bitters.

Well I got that one right, given Gerrard M.O.M. for the goals, but I thought Kelly was outstanding tonight.

I think there is only Kenny now who could give Stevie a run for his money as our greatest ever player ...... and I am not sure that Kenny still has the edge. Blessed to have watched some great players, I think we will look back on Gerrard as being as good as any.

      YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS S

This is what can happen when Gerrard, Suarez, and Carroll all start. The link-up between the three of them was excellent.

Downing played well too, and when Kuyt came on the interplay between him, Suarez, and Gerrard was great.

Just a great performance all-around from the team. Nice to see Kelly bounce-back after so-so performances, too.
