those who talk of Swansea and rodgers in glowing terms have you even looked at their record.Possesion football agressive football and yet they only score 44 and conceded 51 we had a 14 goal difference to them yet we get hammered.
So for all their possesion they didnt score many but let in 51 how is that wonderful.Wigan is even worse and some of their capitulations are embarrasing.
So neither of them should get near our club.If the idea is to have Van Gaal hold their hand why not just give him the job in the first place.
Other than the stand out candidate Rafa non of them are really what we need.

ESPN just had on Liverpool vs Arsenal from the 08/09 season, when it finished 4-4. All I am saying is the attitude the players displayed that night was unbelievable. I want that back!!! Don't get me wrong, we were going for the league title but it was the attitude that impressed me most. 50-50 balls and Masch getting stuck in, Alonso losing the ball from a pass, running 40 yards and winning the ball back, Carra getting his head on every ball. Was jut brilliant! One man was responsible...RAFA!!! Tear in the eye kind of stuff.

Also just saw John Madjeski, Reading chairman and Rodgers former boss, claiming he thinks Rodgers will get the job.

He wasn't with Dave Whelan was he? Both in their gowns and slippers shuffling along the medication line?

Hello Rafa. Hope to see you back on the touchline next season. For me, your silence can only mean something is happening! Good luck!

Barny trying to be clever ;D

Hello Barney, I'd love to be back some day. Hopefully I can get the job again. I think you'll be happy.

      Rafa's proper Response:

Hello Barney, nice try. I can't say nothing. Thanks.  :D

Fair play to Barny trying though!

IMO, I think there's been contact between FSG and Rafa, how significant that is I have no idea but he wouldn't be so quiet about this if he felt he had no chance.

I don't think posting on Twitter or on a persons website is clever.

Just looks desperate and tacky and more than likely achieve the opposite desired outcome.

Well the weight of money on Rodgers is relentless. Said a couple of days ago that I was convinced he would be our manager and that has just continually been re-enforced. Just for an example, over the past day or so Rodgers has taken about £250,000 worth of bets where his nearest rival (Martinez) has taken just £10,000. (Total market size £1.3m and Rodgers now has half the entire money on him)

      Sounds like Rafa to me.
Anyone else think it odd that the press seem to totally ignore Rafa when discussing the job yet the majority of people I know want him back.

      I agree.

The press ignore Rafa because they've had an agenda against him ever since he stood up to the drunk.

Carra's mate (the one who gives out the teams early) was e-mailing people yesterday saying that Rodgers will be appointed by the end of the week.
