I'm ready to change my mind about Hendo if he continues his good form but I've rarely been impressed with Downing, in all honesty I've lost any patience.

Talking about Henderson, by the way, I think today's game is a very good test for him. I'm not convinced he gives us enough quality on the ball to play in that key attacking midfielder role, but it's true he is improving and if he continues to get better, we might have found an answer within our own squad. Interesting to see if he can give us as good a performance against Arsenal as he gave us against the likes of Norwich.

Anyway, come on Liverpool FC, which is what matters. If Downing scores a hat-trick and reveals a shirt saying "suck my balls, Diego", I won't complain!

It will be interesting to see how he does against them.

Let's not forget that they completely bossed our midfield last time and that was without Wilshere. Really need to be on it from the first whistle here, still annoys me how sh*te we were in the reverse fixture.

Come on lads.... lets smash em!

Very happy with that line up! Those complaining about the gaf continuing to start underperformers are kept shut! Sterling, Allen and Skrtel must learn to give big or go home!

Expose Mertesackers pace, he's slower than Sami Hyypia...and shi**er. We'll score more than them if Suarez and Sturridge get at that c**t

Assenal fans will also expecting the same with Carra on Walcot.

Was thinking exactly the same, but we have Lucas shielding the back 4, and I have no doubt he'll "take one for the team" if he has to.

      Looking forward to this.
Both defenses open to exploitaion with pace.
Mertesaker and Carragher. Sturridge and Walcott.
Let's just hope it's our lot that do the damage.

That said, I feel this is currently our strongest team.

I would have played a 4 man midfield too, but what do i know? The key to ArsenalĀ“s play is taking the ball from them, and not lettting them play comfortably in large gaps. You need a combative and packed midfield to do that, and I hope our boys are up for the task today.

That said, I think Suarez and Daniel could cause Mertesacker some big ass problems, and get him carded real soon. STop Cazorla and stop Arsenal, for what ive seen.

It's one reason why Henderson is playing.

Along with Lucas and Gerrard it is our best tgree at the minute and I feel stronger than theirs so I'm happy with a three and to have three attackers on as well.
