No excuses today we need to be much sharper than we were last week - up and at them from the get go like the Palace game, only this time we need to sustain it.

Come on redmen - you owe us one against the baggies!

What's the odds that Lucas, back in the side today, picks up a booking, against WBA. 2  1 to the Red men.

About the same odds as when Mascherano was here, as they have very similar booking stats.

You and I see sport differently then. There should never be aspirations other than winning every competition, regardless of your supposed skill level. I would never want to have a manager that was aiming or happy with 1 point.
Spot on mate can just imagine his team talk , ok lads a point will do ,they didnt act like that when they went to the mancs they fcking battered them ,anyone thinking they dont have aspirations of coming here and beating us is just fooling themselves they want to win alright and they will have a good fcking go at it too ,we need to be on our a game , as for must win games every time players pull on the shirt it should be a must win game or else whats the point of it all.

COME ON YOU REDS 3 POINTS PLEASE.

enjoy it to all who are going.

My team for this outing would be.

                                   Mignolet

            Toure                Skrtel               Sakho

      Johnson                                            Cissokho

                           Lucas          Gerrard

                                    Alberto

                 Suarez                          Sturridge

I really do feel Alberto's presences is underrated. IMO he can be that creative spark we need to get both our strikers scoring MORE goals.

McAuley wary of Reds strike pair

West Brom defender Gareth McAuley has told his team mates they must keep their wits about them when they come up against Suarez and Sturridge.
McAuley accepts West Brom will have their hands full but takes heart from the two defeats they handed out to LFC last season, which included him scoring a headed goal in their 2-1 victory at Anfield in February.
''Suarez is a quality player, world class, he knows where the back of the net is and he is a handfull, he's somone we'll have to keep a close eye on. Suarez and Sturridge are clever players they link well together and one of them can go long while the other comes short''.
They have good movement and it's going to be up to us to make clever decisions in the game. We'll have to be on top of our game if we're going to stop them''.

Well good luck with that one lad.
      Or maybe not.
        Come on you Reds.

Tough 90 minutes in store here and even tougher unless we bin the 3 4 3. We are pedestrian at midfield having no effect on games really. Back to 4 2 3 1

                      Mignolet
      Johnson Toure Sakho Cissokho
                    Lucas Agger
      Suarez     Gerrard    Moses
                       Sturridge

I agree with all of this,  but I'd swap Agger for Hendo in your lineup.
