A Cyclone today for 45 minutes. Best 45minutes ive seen us play, we should have had 7-8 goals. No need to get tired/injured/sent off in the second half, so the lads regulated their effort.
      Fantastic.

WOW..... Couthinho, Sterling... everyone. Not one bad performance by the looks and sounds of it.

Some of the killer passes from Coutinho have won him MOTM from me obviously closely followed by Raheem. I hope this spurs Sterling on to keep getting better and better.

Just watching the highlights and I still don't think Coutinho got the credit he deserved in the game. Some of his play was mesmerising but the closing down and steel to his game surprised me a little. Knew he was never afraid of a challenge and backed himself in any 50/50 but to go seeking out the challenges really impressed me today.

      Coutinho 21
      Sterling 19
      Sturridge 24
      Suarez 27 (only just turned)

That front 4 could really etch themselves into the history books if they all stay fit and decide to stay with us.

reading a lot of people saying that the first 20 minutes was the best football they had ever seen from any side. Would many of you agree?

      I would.

Any team, anywhere, and in any era would be proud to have played as well as we did today.

MOTM was Brendan Rodgers for me. How complete a team performance was that?  :)

Hard to call today, everyone did their bit, but I chose Flanno.
Defending, he was immaculate, and his distribution was 'qualitee' today. Well played Jon

What was Wilshere's dive all about today, when Gerrard breathed on him.  Scandalous that.

Can you seriously imagine if Suarez had done that - would have dominated the back pages tomorrow.

Johnson is going to have to go left back when he comes back.

Put in some crunching tackles when Arsenal attempted to get dirty.
Himself and Gerrard snuffed it out before Wilshire and Co got a chance.

Attacking 4 was breathtaking in the first half.
Could easily have been 6-0 at half time.

My only gripe is Gerrard giving away the penalty.
Didn't think he needed to go to ground there.
Not the night for that though.

5 GOALS, against the would be title contenders.
I don't think we'll win the league. I think City and Chelsea
have too much squad strength. It's quite possible we could
      snatch 3rd from Arsenal.

If Flanno keeps this up mate, kept an eye on him today, and he was immense.
Might of fired some of his passes today, but reminded me of a young Stevie. All accurate.

IMO we completely shat all over them right through the game, not just the first half. How long did they take to get their first shot on goal (60mins or so?)?

Well done to Cissohko for his best game in a red shirt, and after the foul on Gerrard, telling crybaby Wilshere where to stick it.

Love the way he wants to get forward but is still a proper defender.

Quite often, when we were close to scoring, I'd wonder who the F**k was lying flat
out having burst a gut to get into the box. Flanno. Love him.

Yep, but it is a good lesson for him to learn, and he might as well learn it at 5-0 up. He doesn't need to be going to ground and putting in all or nothing tackles in that position. Might look good and catch the eye if it comes off, but that isn't what that role is all about really.

Still other than that thought he played it pretty well.

Anyway, still buzzing off of the game, highlights for anyone who wants them

All I cans say JD is that he played like a seasoned Liverpool player today. Against Arsenal didnt look out of place at all.

Wife and sister asking me to come to the cinema hall with them.  flatly rejected. Would have been robbed of not witnessing the the best attacking football display I have arguably seen.
packs of wolves when we didn't have the ball.
Everytime Liverpool have the ball they look like they're going to score.
This my friends is a massive statement. this my friends is not only a shout to the teams in England but the whole continent.
shocker, if we don't get a bare minimum 4th with this ruthless display. good to be back in the mix for the title.
In closing I would like to thank the players for their effort put in. did us all proud.
