I'm disappointed to loose, but I've been way more pissed off watching us vs Basel, Palace etc
That was a game were we had more chances, more shots on goal, but they win 3-0. We could have had 4 or 5, and that is not overstating it.
Our main problem has not gone away and won't until Studge comes back or we get someone in Jan.
We are not clinical enough up front - we're not perfect in the other 2 thirds, but goals change games and if we take 50% of our chances today we score at least 3.
Frustrating more than anything.

Spot on man we performed well thought we were comfortable they just toke their chances we never Basel Palace Sunderland were complete disgraceful performances

All stats in our favour... dig through the mud lads. We arent terrible... just playing that way.

I think the only reason for that was because Utd defense and midfield were quite sh*t and they played an open game. I doubt we'd have nearly as many chances when we played teams who were set for defense/counter-attack game.

Not surprised we lost, not utterly appalled at the display. Some individuals errors certainly deserve to and have been pointed out.  The worst part, for me though, was the complete anonymity of our midfield, Gerrard, Henderson and Joe Allen. Allen in particular deserves criticism,  as the other two had momentary involvements in the game.

If Utd were 1-0 up in that 2nd half it would have been very different. We starting ramming at their door, and they would have been under a lot of pressure. But 2-0 up.... and the pressure was off.

mate I don't think you can say I support Brendan I don't thinkhe is good enough but FSG have strangled the signing of top quality players they will not pay the big wages.

A lot of money has been spent on players who have never played at the level required.

We'll be fine, sh*t teams beat Arsenal on a fairly regular basis.

Thats the top four over unless by some miracle we win the next eight games with a team that can't beat teams like sunderland and crystal palace other than that we are set for mid-table nice one JWH, where is that promise of making the CL an annual event was all that a pipe dream as well.
