Implying that Mane is to Klopp what Suarez was to Rodgers is a bit of an insult to the fact that Jürgen got this team to two cup finals in his first few months at the club with some terrific performances along the way in both the league and the cups...without Mane. I'm a big fan of Rodgers and supported him till the end but there is no comparison and the way Klopp manages his team without star performers. The reason we aren't performing is simple - the likes of Sturridge, Firmino, Origi etc who were all star performers last season in wins against the likes of Man City, Man Utd, Dortmud, Villarreal (and a few other Premier League performances) etc are just not playing well enough at the moment. That is as much Klopp's problem as it is theirs but let's not kid ourselves with the sort of banal knee jerk reactions as comparing the loss of Mane to that of Suarez.
