I know its only youtube but from seeing this clip, to me its like he is the left footed version of joe cole because of the way he moves with the ball and has similar skills (I was impresses by his back heels)

im still not sure about him joining but hopefully he will prove me wrong

At last a wide player and on the left, having seen the clips above he looks good with both feet and he knows the prem through his time with Man.C so he knows what to expect. I would now like to see a right footed player play on the right and Ryan Babel fits the bill, I just hope Rafa gives Babel a chance out wide on the right and then the width will be down both flanks. I know we may not play that way away but home where we have to attack I could see them two scareing the hell out of defenders....
