Okay so we have a million topics on this but...  vote on who you would prefer to be at Anfield next season.

off topic: does anybody know where i can find out how many matches have alonso and masch played together, with stats like passes complete, distance covered.
btw i am not looking to compare them agaisnt each other.

Its obvious, everyone is going to vote for the player we already have, if we had Barry and Villa had Alonso, I think the votes would be reversed

With Stevie G picking up a groin injury tonight it shows that we need both Xabi and Barry and they both are needed. I don't know how long Gerrard will be missing but with Barry around we have a ready made replacement and once Stevie is back I expect to see Barry along side Gerrard more often than not so the quicker we sign him the better I shall feel. We need both players...

Seems like these recent pre-season showings from Alonso has really won over the supporters. I wouldn't think this would be as nearly one sided as it is.

That is a setback to the "Forget Barry, keep Alonso" thing isn't it
