Definitely. That's one of the massive problems with having 4 managers in 3 years.

the problem Brendan has and we now have as a club is that you have players brought in by 3 previous manager and he will want to have his own players eventually.
Its also clear that in the last 3 years since Rafa left we havent had a good outcome to the majority of our purchases and again Brendan will have to sort this out in time but not now.

You could also add the last three years of Rafa's tenure to the list as well.

For me Adryan since alonso left the club we have shown that we are only willing to go so far to be the best. Amongst the backdrop of so much money coming into the game other clubs started to believe and dream whilst we had to be realistic. Rafa was really on to something special so to see that bubble burst has caused untold psychological damage. Now with a top 6 or 8 teams even more teams believe they deserve to be on top.

It's a very tough job for Brendan to turn that feeling around on such a limited budget but I think fan support will play a big part and hopefully over the next few years we can rebuild ourselves
