Same in most threads pal surprisingly by the same people time and again. Go figure. As someone who has seen the worst kind of violence I find it remarkable of some peoples views on here. Will not respond again on this thread as the rage and abuse I could throw will deffo get me banned.

Needless to say some fans have very short memories. But hey they are just gestures and we are being to sensitive ..............

Don't be so naive, it's far more than losing one game, it's his sh*t tactics, his f**king unbelievably sh*t press conferences, his disgraceful handling of Reina and Torres, the fact he will never, ever be a good Liverpool manager and the more and more we stick with him, he's going to drag us further in the sh*t.

And that sh*t that was posted on another thread from Kanwar was a f**king joke about comparing Rafa's and Roy's first 22 odd games.

You could tell by the way the Kop was purring every Alonso pass Rafa had us heading in the right direction, Roy on the other hand has done the unbelievable he's actually brought most of our support together which was split over Rafa in hating Roy.

Don't be slagging off lads who travel all over the country and Europe following our team, our patience has been tested and finally we've snapped!!

The gestures were totally out of order, but to suggest that it was a death-threat is a silly exaggeration.  If Galatasary fans were doing it, fine, they have previous.  Liverpool fans don't, so when a few dickheads (bevvied up no doubt) are doing it, there is no cause for concern.  It was crass, wrong but let's not make too big a deal of it.

There was never any belief that it was a death threat, its a horrible gesture that can be taken the wrong way and its not got a place in football, but we all agree it wasnt right so all is well

I didn't say all of them. minorities like the people he mentioned making the gestures to Hodgson and taking the piss out of players during the game.

Again something which has been totally blown out of proportion.

Taking the piss out of players, thats why our whole away fans at Stoke applauded the players off the pitch and were just giving sh*t to Roy.

But there is tremendous anger in the fact that despite a huge majority of fans telling anyone who wants to listen that Roy is the wrong man the owners have said we are wrong so much for listening to the fans.I will ALWAYS defend our away supporters because they turn up all over Europe to get behind the lads.You here them everywhere and just because a few go a bit to far in the heat of the moment there is a debate over the quality of person that makes up our away support. No way should any off them be questioned about their behaviour we have one of the best records of any club when it comes to the behaviour of our fans who travel all over to support the lads. Long may they do so.

Just to play Devil's Advocate, whilst adding that their was always a small minority that persistently didn't like Rafa amongst our ranks, won't changing the manager just change the focus of the anger.  People seem to still be in a hyper-vigilant state & ready for a rare up at a moments notice, wanting instant gratification & getting pissed off when it doesn't happen their way. 

No I disagree.Roy apart from his being selected by Purslow and co is just so obviously damaging to us. Rafa still had the support of the vast majority something Roy will never have.
People demonstarte passion in different ways younger fans may feel that a gesture is a way of showing the recipient your time is up.
I am a bit sensitive to any criticism of fans or people from Liverpool in general as it was for a longtime a national pursuit.

Fans have every right to vent frustration at Roys ineptness, thats life and the way things have been going he has to take it on the chin...or turkey neck in this case.

It just seems pointless charging at the manager and issuing more agressive gestures ect, at the end of the day we all want whats best for Liverpool and hopefully things will iron out ok, we are all waiting patiently for JH to make the right move, then we will all have a great big sigh of relief!

Maybe the sight of those young lads gave Roy a bit of a wake up call as to just how annoyed everyone is by his very presence at our club .I doubt even that gesture subtle as it wasnt probably passed him by anyway.

Very obviously not death threats. Just a lot of watching sh*te coming to a head. If I was getting paid that money to produce the lurg that Roy has been then I would be laughin my bollocks off if I was getting clapped off every week. Liverpool fans have passion! We are passionate and show it when the going is good and everybody wallows in it then, so why can't we be passionate when paying to watch what we are currently witnessing.
