Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez explains the terrible state of the pitch at Hull: "The ball is like a rabbit - and it is difficult to catch a rabbit."

       :lmao:

ala Cantona, and the seaguls. Did anyone see any Rabbits?
What a man, he's just "out-Cantonad" Cantona, fooking brilliant.

      Delighted with the 3 points.

Well played Kuyt and what a goal that was from Alonso. The defence still look nervous but hopefully that will be sorted ahead of the Newcastle match.

      Now come on Spurs!

f***in hell lads. 2-0 to spurs. All pool fans keep prayin it stays this way. Harry Redknapp can have the freedom of liverpool if it stays like this. Jamie Redknapps reaction when modric scored is class. Still clearly a hardcore red.

Great result, considering the team we were playing. A struggling hull fighting for there PL Status.

Plus with United loosing 2 - 0 today could turn out a very good day. :)

Just a reminder if people are following games not involving the reds then the General Football board is where you need to be posting. Cheers.

with the scum winning 5-2 this really doesnt mean a lot to be honest, but you can never say never we have just got to keep plugging away and winning the games its that simple.

Personally I believe, winning the remaining games gives us momentum into the next season, but I'd rather try out the youngsters now, I can't see Utd losing this anymore.  We had the chance to put some pressure on them, we screwed up against Arsenal.  Now we just need a revamped defence come next season.

I think they are still under very much pressure. We should put our best team every week untill it's mathematically impossible.
The way they played first half today, gives me just a glimmer of hope.

How can you say this game doesn't mean a lot?

We're still only 3 points behind and all we can do is keep winning to pile on the pressure and that is what we are doing and we will continue to do that.

We can't do anything more than win our remaining games and hope United F**k it up.

They nearly did today. They got one debatable penalty decision and after that spurs were just happy to let them play  :(

Guys, it's time to look towards the next season.  I watched the Utd game towards the end, and they don't look a pressurised team, far from it.  They were so comfortable, that they managed a few laughs and jokes in between amongst themselves.  We missed our boat this year.  Our next ship is to outsail the rest when we buy a few quality fullbacks.
