Why don't we play Toure, Skrtel, Agger, Sakho as the back 4?
4 natural CB's though, I think we would be better with at least 1 recognised full back.

Will miss Coutinho, but still think we have enough to win this one at home to continue the good start :)

Am amazed to see so many have left Toure out of the line up. Has to play if he. I fit, I've been so impressed with his leadership qualities and given were a quiet side without Carra he has to play for me. Sakho got his first taste of the epl on Monday and had a mixed game, Rodgers suggested he hasn't had much football this season so I would expect him to take a step back if Toure and Agger are both passed fit.

Henderson at full back isn't a bad idea at all and that could ore for me although I think we would miss his energy in midfield so it's a tough one.

Yeah, think he'll play Toure tomorrow ahead of Sahko (he still has to find his feet)

      I agree LL.

But not sure it's the best move for us or Andre at this point.

Same. Personally I wouldn't play him there, as he needs a time out of the team to relieve pressure and get his head sorted again, but like Insua in 2010 we don't really have any other option do we?

Yeah it's important that doesn't happen. Insua was pretty dreadful that season. Converting someone like Toure to right back would produce better performances on that right side than a struggling Wisdom. Playing out of form players is never an option in my opinion.

Playing at home and with the incentive to remain top of the league, i am expecting a very positive approach.
Even without Coutinho, we should be able to create and take enough chances to see of the Saints.
Regardless of formation, this one will be determined by the team's desire to stay top... Im going 2-0 win for us.

The option is as we have been discussing in here.

Play Toure either at RB or in a three as an experienced head is a much better option than a kid so short of confidence it's scary.

It kind of is Brian as if we can win this one we kick off with Suarez being back, continuing building confidence and really keep strong with a pretty decent chance of taking max points from the next 4.

Lose and it could all go the opposite way.

This game should test the Mental character of the team -are they too scared to lose rather than being brave and going for a convincincing win. Coincidently I can't believe that with characters like Gerrard in midfield with all his experience why we have retreated so far back in the second half of each game. Maybe something to do with some of the nightmare games of last season where we have battered teams only o be caught out with a couple of moments of madness?

You could argue though that every game whilst we're top of the league will be our most important one. It's vital we stay where we are!

Hopefully we'll return to winning ways, it's a home game as well. Would be interesting to see whether Alberto gets game-time or not.
Predicting a narrow win for us, hope that Coutinho's absence won't leave a big hole in the CM.

Buzzing for this one. Can't wait till the lads walk onto the pitch. We have to mark Lambert, for me Skrtel is the man to take himout of the equation.

Pretty positive we will come away for this with the 3 points but I've been positive before and it's turned to sh*t. Let's hope we get 5 goals in the first 35 minutes because we know we like to sit back and absorb the pressure for the last 60 minutes. Can feel a heart attack coming on one of these days.

2-0 for me. Sturridge and Raheem on the scoresheet.

Off to bed.....up early again to get to Anfield to watch the mighty redmen, excited muchly. Seems a lifetime ago since we played the mancs there.

We'll miss Coutinho but hopefully we have enough in the squad to cover for him, just want us to win and stay looking down on the rest of the Premiership.

      Go Reds !!

In my opinion, Skrtel hasn't gotten enough credit for how well he has played in the last 2 games.  He had RVP in his pocket against the Scum, and saved a point for us against the Swans.   Probably among the most deserving of a place in the starting lineup alongside Stevie, Migs, and Studge.

I agree with this although I do feel he has got a lot of credit from many on here for how well has has done since he came back into the side.
