Favourite Ever Liverpool FC Player

Did not have the pleasure of supporting the club through the glory years so I can not comment on King Kenny. From what I have seen its Steven Gerrard and Robbie Fowler.

John Barnes without a doubt for me. I have not seen a finer left winger since. And he can even rap!

Dalglish, Gerrard, Rush, Hamman, Barnes, Carra, Hansen..... i could go on all day.

My Dad, who's been around to see us lift enough titles, and cups, said to me John Barnes was the best ever player he saw in a Liverpool shirt.

And that's saying something.

But of my era, it's going to Steven Gerrard.

I have a man love for John Barnes too. Maybe not the very best of all time but definately up there in the top 10, maybe even top 5.

That would be Gerrard... He could play in all position & great captain 

Fowler Fowler Fowler.. who ever believe this player could stomp into XI and become so important for the team and nightmare for anyone.. esp.. P.Schmeichel.
Did he still hold the fastest hat-trick record??? the best player ever ever.. remember the time when he bleach his hair.. it look like a clown but a scoring clown.
Rush could retire well because Fowler had stomp into the club so well and become the "God" in the kop.

I echo that man love for Digger, Crouchinho!

He absolutely sent me into raptures when he toyed and terrorised defences, especially in the 80s.

Our awesome midfield was already usually dominating the opposition but he was the cream on the cake: the Creme De La Creme if you will!

king kenny is the ultimate anfield legend but there are others who are up there as well like hansen,souness,mcdermott,alankennedy, ray kennedy then onto the likes of john aldridge,john barnes,peter beardsley,razor ruddock,steve mcmahon,ian rush,jamie redknapp,steve mcmanaman,god,jamie carragher and the man stevie g. the list could go on and on but the one man who tops it all is king kenny

hopefully in a few years you will be adding fernando tores to the list as he is already half way there but if we win the league this year you could add the full squad to the list cause its been too long in coming home

Used to love the old goal celebrations of King Kenny and Rushie!

They would be in my top three, along with Gerrard.

For old times sake:

Aldo scored 50 goals in 80 games or thereabouts in his 2 seasons, thats an amazing record regardless of which team you play for. He could score from distance, in the box and with both feet.

I would love to say Kenny is our best ever player but i didnt have the pleasure of watching him/alot of his playing career wasnt on video thats easily accessible here.

My list includes: Gerrard, Owen, Fowler, Gary Mac, Aldridge, Beardsley, Rushie and Digger. Amazing players.

For me the top three are easy after that it is very difficult.  The King will always be on the top of the order and first place is his inherited rank as the list will never look the same without King Kenny at No.1.

2.  Rushie -  For those that didn't see him in action imagine a player that gave you the confidence Torres gave you in the second part of last season when we needed a goal,  and then consider that he delivered that level of predatory instincts for over a decade!
