Think he is taking the role of leader this season, especially at the top half of the pitch. In his own play now and how he helps others.
Exactly. I think some people are missing this part about extending his contract. Yes, he brings goals and important ones at that, but its also the wealth of experience he brings to those young forwards playing with him across the frontline. It's also the work ethic. You're playing with one of the best forwards in the world. You get to see how he trains on the pitch, at the gym, when does he arrive for training, what does he eat. Then there's the whole mental side of it where you get to see how he reacts when he had a bad day at the office, when we are winning, different game situations.
The beauty of it all is that unlike some other superstars, the lad just gives this impression that he is so willing to give back. From what I gather from Elliott's interviews where he talks about him, you don't have to observe Mo and try to understand on your own, he'll come to you and tell you, share his experience and knowledge.
The lad is just truly underrated in every aspect. I expect we'll probably be in the market for a young RW soon or maybe promote one through the academy. Can't learn it from a better player than Mo.
