You know as I do the majority of your supporters want success yesterday, comparing LFC in any context is not viable.
You say about Klopp's achievement of getting us io two cup finals and it giving the club a new "zest", Van Gaal won your lot a trophy and he was sacked before the game kicked off.

Something is broken in the manc boardroom and until that is addressed your rivals/haters will look on at your predicament with great joy.

You can argue United fans want success coz over the last 25 years they have achieved that in bundles, granted it's greed but that's the world we live in. Winning the FA Cup is all very nice but it doesn't attract from the fact United have been very poor and boring to watch all season. It's  not the United way as we all know.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            As fans there is nothing we can do as to what goes on in the boardroom and can only show our disappointment through media, chants & posters at matches. Unfortunately it is what it is.                    As for the rival/ haters, that will always be there regardless of what's going on. We know both set of fans love the rivals being beaten.  ;D

Just don't get the excitement for this guy. Man Utd fans have hit a new low. Mourinho was sacked not that long ago for dragging title winners down towards relegation. Now that little history is dragged under the carpet and rival fans are supposed to pretend that Utd are title challengers again?

Nah not me. I'm delighted with this appointment. Utd are nothing and Mourinho is a nothing manager. Sure, they'll try to buy their success by flooding hundreds of millions into their signings, but it won't show. Their problems lie deep. Beating lowly Crystal Palace in a boring final does not make them winners again.

Bring on the new season. Can't wait to see Mourinho win his 1st game 4-0. Then plummet as the season ticks on.

Maureen and Manure, a match made in hell.
In seriousness I do think they'll see a lift but I predict it to come crashing back to earthfairly quickly unless the twattish one is given almost limitless cash to spend.

Said at the presser that he speaks with Maureen every day. Weird.

At 35, no spring chicken. But after the borefest that was the LVG reign, they're in for more interesting times.
      Maureen is a w**ker though!

No idea why. Yet to win the Champions League isn't he? Thought he'd have wanted to be at a team that offers him the chance to do that. Biggest backwards step he could possibly be making.

Not confirmed yet, but the way he was talking, seems set to go there. Mainly due to relationship with Maureen ... and no doubt, in the final years of his career, the gazzilion bucks will help.  Yea, never won the CL, and heading there now, not going to change next season :)

It is their way since 2013, and with this appointment, you're going to have to put up with "boring to watch" for a fair while yet.

Their last man was a quality coach, who has coached and won silverware at top clubs throughout Europe. As a club though, he probably didn't "get" them and their demands, and that's ultimately why he got the chop. They had one of the best home records in the league last year, and as long as they got the result they needed, his response was "crisis, what crisis". They demanded he be fired after losing his first home league game, and that only increased after his second. But they live in a pre-2013 lala land, still can't accept that it, and the silverware then is gone, and things are different there now.

Their new man has a short fuse, and will be before the FA soon enough. On the pitch he has to rebuild a new side, that takes time and patience, which few of their fans afforded the last man in charge and are unlikely to give the next one. His record elsewhere means they'll demand success instantly, and when it doesn't happen, (as it probably won't) they'll want  him out asap too.

Mourhino has a tendency to move on after 3 years - he also has a tendency to win league titles wherever he manages

I think we can expect one or two titles before he moves on

Here's hoping Klopp is the real deal
