Game day!!!! One thing I don't want to her today is any mentions about ye 'Yanks Out'. Let's just focus on supporting Brendan and the team and hope they get a good result.

At least we go into this game without any significant injuries bar Lucas. As such, we are able to field three genuine attacking players and three quality midfielders, along with our normal back four. Arguably our best eleven will take the field against Arsenal, and as such I think we'll win by a couple of goals.

Just attached the link to my post

      Back to today's match.
I see us winning by a goal or it ends up in a draw with Liverpool scoring first. I think the error for this match has already been used by Man City, so hoping we beat them and make a strong statement that we are still a force to be reckoned with.

Lets make Anfield a fortress that it is again.

Looking forward to this, a chance to focus purely on the football, something we've been unable to do for what feels like (and probably has been!) years.

Hoping for our strongest starting line-up (barring Lucas), an excellent performance like against City, without the costly individual errors.

I think in recent seasons we've proved more than a match for them on the field, with them getting points more down to individuals putting in a good display on the day, Arshavin and RVP being two examples.

      Quietly confident.

I would go with the following starting 11:

Substitutes: Jones, Kelly, Coates, Jonjo, Hendo, Downing, Assaidi

This is the same team I'd go for while we have the majority of our players in good health. There's the option of putting Kelly in there and moving Johnson further up the pitch too. And I'd like to see Assaidi brought on at 60 minutes to see what he can do, after we're two nil up of course ;)

Good luck on your debut Sahin!

As long as you wrap Carzola in your pocket, the mood might brighten in here!

Despite all that's gone on I'm still buzzing about this game, even more so now as I've managed to arrange it in work so I'm off to watch it.

With Lucas out I'm hoping to see Sahin go straight in although Shelvey has done enough to keep his place. Hope Sterling starts again as well.

Subs: Gulacsi, Coates, Robinson, Shelvey, Henderson, Assaidi, Amoo

Only reason I've got Sterling on the right, Iit seems like he has an understanding with Johnson.

I am going for a nil nil draw, although hope I am proved wrong. No more clangers from Pepe please, fingers crossed someone will pinch a goal and give the Reds a boost with a home win.

Yeh I know mate Arshaving had just got his hat-trick goals as I typed it, then Torres cored his third whilst I was typing it too, now watching us against them in 2001 with Ged and Thompson on the bench.

Henry was a magical mesmerising at times players wasn't he ?
