2 chances of Agger accepting a move anywhere, slim and none and slim just left town.

      I don't think he'll go.

He seems very settled here and it's obviously loves the club

that's why they'd get rid of him debs,he doesn't fit their age criteria so they'll sell him now and get him off the wage you know the story .

Like they did last year? No wait, they rejected that.

Of course FSG can't tear up a players contract like they can a mangers so Danny has that going for him.

Same bullcrap from last window about Agger and he didn't go then either. But you are right, FSG probably want to sell all of our good players so we can get relegated and then they can sell us off for a loss.

I am still trying to figure out what of our best players have been sold off.

Pissed about Pepe..that's fine but Simon could turn out to be fantastic.

Pissed about Jamie retiring? How was he dumped to cut wages?

      Pissed about them selling Fernando?

Where are these big players that have been shipped off without adequate replacement?

      Inquiring minds want to know

What I'm saying is that this is the same knee jerking people were doing last window saying FSG were going to push Agger out the door.

No one pushed Agger anywhere and he pledged his loyalty to the club, which is why he won't be going anywhere this window either.

Agger does need to improve drastically this year. His first 6 months last year were absolutely F***ing awful.

Wouldn't go that far but he did have a dip in form. He finished the season great though so if he picks up where he left off he'll be boss this year!

I think most of the defensive players were, more a case of them getting used to how Brendan wanted them to play.

Hardly an excuse. Down to the basics and he lacked concentration. To his credit, Jamie really helped him turn that around.

Still in form he's one of the best around and the best at the club. And fully committed. No need to even think of selling.

Been a huge fan of Agger for a while but I do believe his technique and class with the ball hides some deficiencies that are often overlooked. One of them is marking inside the box. Not saying he's bad at that, not at all, but it's not as good as the rest of his game. He has a tendency to lose his man, especially on set pieces, that at times last season made me despair. Not to say he can't improve though - his normal self isn't as bad as he was for parts of the 2012-13 season.
