It’s not in our hands anymore is it? 😩

I don't think having it in our hands is the way to look at it. It's about staying in the conversation and we are more than doing that being joint top level on points with Arsenal. There will be many twists and turns to come with some tricky fixtures for all involved. The odds of any one of the top 3 winning all remaining games will be pretty slim I reckon.

Well, I feel we (with no Trent, Alisson, Diogo, etc) were robbed of a penalty toward the end. How's that not a penalty when a player studs you in the ribs? Free kick if that happens in the middle of the pitch.

This team never ceases to amaze me. So proud of the lads! Thought Elliot and Macca were outstanding but man, Diaz and Gakpo cannot finish.

Play the kids on Thursday, steam roll United on SUnday and then have some time off to prepare for the final push, as seen with the results yesterday, and the ref's today, nobody is on our side apart from us... just gotta win them all I guess.

No Jota, no Trent, no Alli, no Konate, no Jones and a half-fit Salah. That was their best 11 out there. Proud as F**k if these lads. A couple of you who have got F**k all positive to say should do one.

Good post. And we‘ll get better injury-wise, also with Bajcetic upon return.

Mac Allister is my MOTM. Hardly put a foot wrong. Was everywhere at the same time and did everything and anything with high proficiency. Very cool from the spot.

It's a shame we couldn't finish one of the chances we created in that second half.

He was superb mate, although I went for big Virgil because he was also immense, Haaland barely had a sniff and he was shepherding young Quansah through his first BIG game.

Sometimes you sound like a total dick. You really do. Yes he should have scored but he had so many good moments. His work rate, commitment and tireless running shone out. Honestly, to stick the boot in when a player gives that kind of effort. Not what I’ve come to expect from a Liverpool fan, quite the opposite.

      You're not serious.

It is fair comment to say so when a player has a bad game. Diaz can run around as much as he likes, but to waste those chances in that game was awful. He should have been subbed. He was never scoring. Loved his energy, but he was so wasteful today.

That's the reality. I don't care if you want to appreciate his energy. Today it made no difference. We needed the goals.

But Fibo..the position of the ball is immaterial...you can't just lunge your boot at it if it's at chest high. It was dangerous and reckless challenge and VAR made an immediate call. "Coming together"...that makes it legit to go for any ball regardless of the height of the ball.Either VAR ref doesn't know the law or he side steps the law.
He sh*t out of making the right call  mate
He lead with a high boot same as the other Bruce Lee wanabe Yates for Forrest last  weekend.

Absolute bs. Jones got the ball at spurs, protected it. His foot slipped off the top of it. Totally unintentional. They couldn't wait to send him off. Don't give me this unintentional bs ... bent bas*Ards

Come off it. Diaz was excellent out there. He missed one chance he should have scored. The second one he had to slow down and wait for it and their defender got a foot in. The rest of the half he absolutely terrorised them down the left, he was really good. Ridiculously churlish to call him the worst player on the pitch after that performance.

Picked 1-1 before the game and said all week to my friends that if we don't lose, we win the league.

I could look at our finishing and reffing and complain, but im gonna choose to be positive.

      We're gonna win the league

Diaz is NOT Jota. He was a thorn in Cities side. He does miss chances but Nunez misses...so does Haaland. Gave it everything, didn't get the contact right, once or twice but he wasn't crap by any stretch.

If Diaz could finish would have been a walk in the park. Can’t fault the effort from the lads, but again left with a sour taste in the mouth after a game against our rivals. We’re averaging around a point a game against the main competitors, we need more than a draw versus United and Spurs by the end of the season.

But he also goes for the ball and even touches it. No penalty, at least no gross mistake in not giving it.

0 contact on the ball. Unless you are genuinely disabled in which case apologies but stop being a retard.

What a second half performance and were unlucky (again) not to win that.

Play like that for the rest of the season and we’ll be PL champions!

We are joint top with some good fixtures coming up

City and Arsenal will play each other so this is actually a decent result for us if you look at it from stats point of view

Of course it would have been good if we won and should have but I can see us winning the remaining next games

You opinion doesn’t matter. It’s the refs and VAR decision. If you question them, they’d give you the same bullshit. Accept it.
