Who is Inacio? How do people find time to watch all of these guys?
Gonçalo Inácio. I've onky watched him a few times, and that's only because we were linked with him last summer. Left footed center halve. My 10 year old says he's good. He watches a lot more than I do.

Outside of Liverpool I only watch a few championship games from time to time. I'm like you, I aint got much time ;D

Only caught the last half an hour.

Don't know F**k all about either team but liked the look of that Wirtz fella, although he looked a bit lightweight for the Premier League.

You know there has to be a noticeable improvement in him...Even through your rose tinted you admit he's been Sh*t. Yes he creates chances,(and misses his fair share) that's why he's paid the Big bucks. You say he looks menacing "every time" he gets the ball...You know that's not true. You say opposition Sh*t themselves at the sight of his name on the team sheet....I'm not convinced of that...anymore.
His contribution to the club is almost unsurpassed, and he undoubtedly deserves respect and the opportunity to "Go again" under a new manager. We'd all love to see an energised Salah, even close to his best.

I'd love to see a new RW come in and Mo just place himself in and around the box.

I reckon we would score a hatful.

I have no doubt Mo will make you eat your words and a lot of others.

Let's revisit your post in say a month or 2 after the new Season starts.

Palhinha would be good business. Prem proven and got that nasty stretch in him (led league in yellow cards in prem). Yellows are par for the course in that position, but I'd imagine if he was protected by our attackers and mids a but better and not put him in such a tough position.

Inacio would be great. Pretty sure he's left footed too? Wish we got him last season.

Fairly certain all our deals will be great and out of left field. Excited for the new boys to get in and start helping us win trophies

Atalanta did to Leverkeusen exactly what they did to us. That Gasperini is a bit of a tactical genius.

Really think that mauling at Anfield was the key to our collapse in the league. We were full of confidence and it just got knocked out of us. We didn't think any team could do that to us, they just stopped us completely from playing. It put all kinds of doubt in our minds.

We should feel a bit better seeing them doing the exact same thing to a team that were unbeaten all season. But I really wish the draw had kept us away from them til later, cos I think the experience fu**ed our league challenge as well as the UEFA cup one.
No real point in going over it again but to me we went into that game too cocky, treating Atalanta with a level of contempt. You are right in that we didn't really recover from it and our league challenge fell away.

I watch that piece and I feel he's truly talking to me...and he was talking directly to me...and to each and every one of us who have shared his journey with him. Astonishing generosity.
