A total dead rubber of a game for Jurgens last. The result irrelevant. Just a day for Jürgen and the crowd to show him one final time how much we appreciate what he has done for our great club the past 9 years.

A real shame how it's all panned out but I'm also quite excited for our next journey ahead.

Without the presence of the 115 charges club it could have been an even more successful reign.

Ultimately I think that was part of what wore him down.

Graeme Souness drove me back up to Edinburgh after a game in 78/79 season. He was going up for a Scotland game and didn't just do it out of kindness. ;)

Hope you gave him some petrol money  ;)

They will have to allow it if the threshold is met in the vote......otherwise there would be no point of voting

According to Henry Winter the PL can veto the vote regardless.

That being said I don't think the scrapping of VAR is what is really at play here. Think this vote is just to show clubs are unhappy with how it's going and this will put pressure on the PGMOL to improve and also on IFAB to change certain protocols.

What you will probably see is greater transparency in the stadium and the ability to hear the audio like in most other sports.

Frimpong release clause is only £34 million. We need to sort out Trent situation and his contract.

Problem with top players with low-ish release clauses is it comes down to wages where we get blown out of the water. Haaland for example had a reasonable transfer fee but the package City put together for him meant no one else could compete.

Douglas Luiz and Olise for me. Luiz cos he's a quality all round midfielder who would give us an option as AM, as well as at DM, if Dom has another bad patch. Olise cos we need a long term replacement for Salah, and he's class.

In the short term, Olise'd give us the option of playing Mo as a false 9,  which I think would suit him the way his game is evolving. And which would in turn give us another season to see how Darwin and Gakpo develop, without us being over-reliant on them coming good.

That would be it for me. We dont need a RB with Bradley having proved himself. Gomez and Kostas still give us decent backup at LB. And at CB, I'd just bring van den Berg back as a promising young 5th choice CB.

There's no way the PL will allow the division to be an outlier from the top 30 leagues in the world. 29 of which use VAR with Sweden I believe opting out.
