It’s the players first period of poor form since he arrived and it’s not surprise it’s after his first period of injuries -

He will go away now , refresh and then go again next season.

It seems too many are far too quick to write him off

He actually had a similar drop in form after the last Afcon. And we had simlar stuff on here - people saying he was past it, his attitude was sh*t. "Stealing a wage" got thrown around a lot. Then he played well the following season and we all loved him again.

I have no worries that if Mo is here next season he will be good for us. He's not old by modern player standards, and he's in great shape. And he has the class. So he'll shut the doubters up again if he's still here.

The only thing I'd add is whether we should let him run down his contract. I think we should offer him an extension. But if he says no and the Saudis offer big money, ie something close to £100m, then we should be realistic and say it's not worth £100m for one more season.

Atalanta last week suffered disappointment in a cup final, bounced back tonight.

I'm sure Leverkusen will use this to bounce back in their cup final this weekend.

Slow lofted, hopeful crosses which the keeper will easily catch. Don't do that.

Pacey deliberate crosses to the heads and feet of our forwards around the penalty spot. Do that.

      250 k p.a. and company car please.

Would you move gaffe?? Post here as FORMBY RED 😅

Leverkusen demolished well done Atalanta well deserved.

I know Leverkusen have been lucky in the Europa league with some late winners but is the German league a farmers league these days.
Yes, the Bundesliga does resemble the Premier League these days...

It's mad they are 5th and almost 30 points behind 1st in Serie A though!

All thanks to their leaky away record and overall average record vs top clubs.

Fairplay to Gasperini for defeating an unbeaten team, that too with a clean sheet.
