Liverpool 5-0 Birmingham: Post Match Joyfulness
Apr 23, 2011 02:17:07 pm
Go straight to full time?
http://www.lfcreds.com/reds/index.php?topic=37609.msg980367#msg980367
Reina, Robinson, Flanagan, Skrtel, Carragher, Maxi, Meireles, Lucas, Spearing, Kuyt, Suarez. Subs: Gulacsi, Cole, Kyrgiakos, Ngog, Poulsen, Shelvey, Coady.
Best team available.
3 centre midfielders on the bench though, why not stick Jova there ahead of Poulsen?

Didn't Daglish say Jova had a knee injury recently?

Very weak bench, but enough in the starting 11 to do the job, good to see Maxi back.

Coady on the bench
wouldn't mind seeing this as a 4 3 3. Pity I'll miss this. Come on Redmen

Glad Carragher comes back in. Gives so much stability to the defense. Shame Carroll didn't make it, hopefully it'll be back for next week. No point playing him when unfit.
I'm sticking to 2-0.

Brum are a tedious side, F***ing boring. If we move the ball quickly, then Suarez should have a field day. Our only worries are Seb Larson and the height of 6 foot 8 Zigic.

Another academy player makes the bench, good to see. Shame about Carroll at the same time. First time i'm missing a game live all season so have to follow on here.
come on you reds, get the win, beat the 7 year jinx, put pressure on Spurs.

Good to see Coady on the bench! I would like to see Meireles play just behind Suarez today! Going for a 2-0 win for The Reds

If we can wrap this up within 70 minutes, maybe a run out for Coady?

Will be interesting to see how Maxi assists Flanagan on the right flank. Kuyt did a great job in that. Good to see Coady on the bench too. End the jinx, Kenny.

Could be a 4-1-3-2. Lucas holding.

I hope we play 433 here. Seems like it'd suit our players more then 442. I feel this will be an easy win. Birmingham will defend deep and try to counter attack.

4231 I think, with Suarez floating and dropping deep to try and link the play.
