Maybe Bellingham stays at Dortmund and we go back next summer. Who knows.

That said with gundogan and silva seemingly leaving city I expect they will go in for him and United as well will throw 120m down without batting an eyelid. I can see united spending 200m this summer.

Much as i'd like him priority striker and even if we got both still wouldn't be enough to catch noisy neighbours.

Tough for any team to beat city over 38 games.

Would he look at arsenal maybe ... they're good now and he could take them next level and be a real statement of intent.

Never even thought about Arsenal being honest but it’s a good shout for them if he does. Hope they hold on but my opinion sadly is City just too f***in good. 🤦‍♂️

I'm personally not too fussed that we pulled out of any potential transfer. We need 3 new signings for midfield, not much left in the pot if we splashed it all on Jude. We need a CB and cover for right back too. What a talent though..

I had a feeling FSG would not stump up that type of money on one player. For me if we going in for several midfield targets the Deffo go for Caicedo. We need that bit of steel in there something we've missed sin Wijnaldum left.

Frees would be Rabiot and Ndicka to strengthen our back 4.

The problem here is that Ferraris have a pretty decent record winning races, and if you don’t buy one you’re going to be lining up against it.

I still think we have a chance with him . Reckon he stays at Dortmund this season not sure he will be pushed towards a move he doesn't want and just follow the money .

      They don't actually.
What Klopp needs is some Red Bulls or Mercedes to beat these Ferraris.

I'm over my negative sh*t now.
The players LFC need are out there.
They need to stop talking about "the right player" and start getting sh*t done.
For the cost of Bellingham, LFC can get 3 midfielders in,
two of which are ready made to bolt into the starting XI.

You should have built a release clause into your contract, Jude.
Off to PSG or City you go, unless you wait another season.

      So as the post said

Reports have Dortmund looking for him to sign a new contract with a release clause that can be activated next summer - the player wants to come to us and doesn’t appear to be in any rush

He is only 19 , years ahead of him so is it possible we get to a stage where this summer it’s more wholesale foundation changes - replace the players leaving with 3 players etc and then next summer Bellingham comes in as the cherry on top

If we can't afford him this summer, we won't be affording him next summer when they put a huge release clause in his contract.

Nothing to get worked up about here.

Same old FSG stuff with Jude....let the papers all think we are in for him, then the cut and run because he's too expensive.

FSG have never "stumped up that type of money" or any type of money on any player so you need to reassess the hypothetical targets!

Staggering how we managed to spend over £1bn with them as owners - not bad for owners that don’t stump up for any money 🙄

some talk of a £80mil buy out clause or some such nonsense now. Bellingham may want to come here but chances are very slim indeed under the current regime

How much have they recouped in player sales?

I'm not quite the big spender if I splash $2000 on a new guitar, but I had to sell my motorcycle for $1500 to afford it.

So yes, I have a $2000 guitar but I can't take it to any gigs because I had to sell my wheels to afford it. Maybe try revealing the entire picture, not just the part that you seem to think makes FSG look good.

Sorry I guess that means that VVD didn’t cost £75mil . We have still spent over £1bn on players under FSG funded from multiple streams

Doesn’t make the level of spend on players any different

It doesn’t make money spent better if it’s £1bn net
