Zabletta has been fairly average at best Crouch for City, his bonus is mostly he is a versatile player. No where near Johnson as an out an out right back. City would snap your hand off for a straight swop

Not going to pick a team out of this lot but I've watched Bale a number of times for his country, he's an excellent footballer but nowhere near being a left back. Think Spurs have started playing him in his strongest posistion, left midfielder...just suprised its taken redknapp this long to work it out.

Mark my words .....he'll be a Spurs left midfield legend! (unless we can snap him up in the summer  )

Looking at that team, the middle is pretty much all Liverpool but nothing on the wings. Still think that's our mainproblem. Pace and trickery at the byeline.

Well I started it because there are players at the other 3 clubs that we could and should buy IF we are to get the funding and I wanted to see what players people would put ahead of ours. Its not really that pointless imo.

Bridge hasn't had a decent season since before Chelsea - slow, lacks a positional sense, no longer effective in attack - I would easily take Insua over him.
I put Warnock as my LB however

Dunno why some are saying this is a pointless thread. Fact is, we are behind these teams and they have been getting some damn good performances from some of those players, so if we could get some of them i would not mind at all. Would give my left nut to have Tevez perform the way he has for shitty for us, he has been immense.
