Their equaliser was shocking shocking defending.  Playing the whistle, not the ball.

Not sure why theres talk knocking around about a second string side/full of kids..

Agger, Kyriagkos, Babel, Lucas, Jovanovic, Ngog etc..
Half that team have played for their nation sides, to claim that weakened team didn't have enough firepower to brush Northhampton aside is laughable. On paper our reserve team should of been able to comfotably beat them, let alone that team we had out tonight.

Theres something more serious going on at Melwood, the body language of the players is just depressing. We look clueless whe we get in to the final third, when we're attacked at the back we look shaky. It just makes you wonder what they actually work on in training.
If we dont get at least 12 points from the next 5 games, Roy has to ask himself is he honestly cut out for this job.

If after those 5 games the situation hasn't improved.. The club is crying out for Kenny to take back the reigns in my opinion.

Problem with Dalglish was his record at Newcastle and Celtic and the fact that he had been out of the coaching side of things for so long. Big fat Sam - I don't remember his name ever being mentioned. Either he didn't fancy us or we didn't fancy him!

I still think it is far too early to write off Hodgson.
I was more trying to make a point of how I would take anybody ahead of Roy right now. As for it being far to early to write off Roy, I said it before he arrived that he wasn't the man. And he is doing a bloody good way of swaying others who weren't sure!

Time to move on eh!! You're not allowed to bring it up now. They got their way and don't want to discuss it anymore.

Change of Manager best for everyone, fresh start blah blah blah, isn't that what was said by Broughton.

      What a load of f**king sh*te!!

You may well be right in saying that we should have kept him as manager: I think it is too early to tell. End of the season at least.

BBC Radio 5 live's Jan Molby:

"This was Northampton's night, it was in the stars for this to happen.
But for Liverpool to lose, it was absolutely unthinkable before.
They were surely always going to make sure they would win this game, weren't they?

I think we are seeing the legacy of the Rafael Benitez reign right here, and it's going to take Liverpool a long time to challenge for the top four again."

Already seen that. Of course I forgot to blame Rafa for us being unable to beat Northampton. Christ, let it go, you got your wish he's gone and now Roy is here to save the F***ing day isn't he!

I'm too busy packing away all things I can hurt myself with until the end of the season to really comment, pissed right off, I nly unpacked them in May, back to peeling potatoes and carrots with my teeth.

You really think he'll be here that long ?

If results don't pick up and quick discontent will grow amongst the fans and they will be calling for his head from the stands mate.

What about Hodgson been sacked at Inter and Blackburn. Daglish record puts Roys to shame if actually examined.
You may well be right - I was just quoting the arguments for and against so to speak. At the end of the day, I think we all know that whoever is the manager is going to be pissing in the wind for as long as the owners situation is unresolved. There are too many sharks in the boardroom looking after their own interests at the club's expense. We won't be in a position to go forward until that is sorted out no matter who is running the team.

Ultimately, I always thought it was down to the players to perform on the pitch. If they can't raise their game as and when needed, THEN the manager should make the appropriate changes...

      Out of his depth.

Based on our current form, I don't think he'll be around next month! But I am trying to be optimistic - I think that knee-jerk chopping and changing of coaches is a sure-fire recipe for making things worse (and things can most certainly get worse as any Leeds / Notts Forest fan will tell you).

What the F***ing hell was that? Roy Hodgson is the most negative b***ard we've ever had in the hot seat (including Souness). We're F***ing Liverpool Football Club not shitty Fulham.

This has got to be the worst week in my life as a Liverpool fan, losing to Utd the way we did and then losing at home to a league 2 side! What a disgrace, I've got a F***ing Coventry fan texting me taking the piss  >:(

Ok fair enough we lost, but to lose with another terrible performance with hardly any attempts is pathetic. Roy needs to sort his F***ing team out otherwise Sunderland will have a bloody feast come weekend.

I may make a contraversial statement here ,but IMO Roy Hodgson,is the worst manager that LFC has ever had,to sum it up he is a useless tw*t.
